Home Visit Fee
£50
This is all you will be charged for us to call out to your home and diagnose and often repair a fault. You will only ever be charged this fee once for the same repair.
We endeavor to get out to you as quickly as possible (usually within 24hours), and we try to have you up and running in the same day.
Prices for parts will be discussed prior to fitting, if they are required.
Included in this price is up to 30 minutes labour (not including cups of tea), which is usually long enough for most repairs to be executed. No additional labour will ever be charged without being explained clearly first.
Puncture Repairs
£60
Whether its a wheelchair or a mobility scooter, we keep the tube to fix your puncture

This price includes a home visit & a new inner tube
Scooter Service
£75
Scooter services are carried out at your home address in our mobile workshop, no matter the weather.
​
They usually take between 1-1.5 hours to complete-not a 20 minute blow over as you may have had else where.
​
Full strip down & Re build including a minimum 20 point check
​
We test your batteries
​
Free top to bottom clean and polish.
​
You will receive a copy of the completed check sheet.
​
Our engineer will also be happy to sit down and advise on any ways to prolong the life of your scooter if requested.

Stairlift
Service
£75
Stairlift services usually take around 1 hour to complete

Powerchair
Service
£75 - £95
Wheelchair services are carried out at your home address in our mobile workshop, no matter the weather.
4 wheel powered Wheelchair services with no tilt/raise functions are £75 and usually take 1 hour to complete.
Powered Wheelchairs with 6 wheels or/and powered tilt or raise functions are £95

Both come with a completed check sheet and battery test.

Battery Tests
£15
We are able to test all types of batteries from mobility scooters, wheelchairs, stairlifts and any kind of 12-24v AGM, GEL or Lithium Ion battery.
We can offer testing at your door for most items of equipment and can provide thorough testing with print outs for internet warranty issues if required.
Prices vary on battery type and location in which they need to be tested so please call.

If replacement batteries are bought from us this test is FREE.

We are an appointed representatives for Mark Bates Ltd who offer insurance with added 24 hour breakdown recovery policy's for powerchair & mobility Scooter users from just £96 per year, not to mention a whole range of attractive extended warranty packages for mobility scooter, powered wheelchair, wheelchair, rise & recline chair, & stairlifts.

We are able to offer repairs to anybody who has a Mark Bates insurance/warranty policy regardless of where the policy & equipment was purchased from.
We also act as a repair center for most other mobility insurers such as Fish Insurance, Blue badge Mobility Insurance, Surewise, SAGIC, First senior etc etc...
Why come to us?
Most mobility companies don't usually like to do repairs, they see them as a burden and would much rather sell new equipment, that is why you will find that their repair charges are so high. Our repair chargers are much lower and more efficient as we are just as passionate about repairing equipment as we are about supplying it.
